1) My feelings and the feelings of Woody (Emily) are alike because if someone I really started to like lied to me about a whole bunch of things, I wouldn't want to talk to them either. The way she ignored him taught him a really well lesson, which was to just be his own true self.
2) A minor character is Mr Dowd. He affected the main character, San Lee, by trying to make him a better Zen Master. He put a whole bunch of Zen quotes in his locker, but in the end none of them helped him. It made him seem even more fake to Emily because he was trying his hardest to live by his quotes.
